Why was the work undertaken?
The work was undertaken as part of the NSW government’s endeavour to provide more housing in Sydney due to its burgeoning population.
Who was the work completed for?
The work was undertaken for the architects/ builders ‘Australian Consulting Architects’ and Western Sydney Lands
A building which had been left derelict for at least 40 years has now been revitalized into a residential flat building with prominent heritage features retained and incorporated into the design of the repurposed building. A very positive result especially given that at the end of the repurposing process, key heritage aspects of the building were retained and conserved such as the staircase and the observation room.View gallery Get in touch
